What is My Grade?

Learning Objectives After successfully completing this activity, students will be able to:

• State what their current grades are in the course--both indvidual assignments and the overall course grade

Core Student Success Skills Addressed: Self-Assessment

Instructions: Students are given a form listing all the assignments given so far in the semester. Students must fill in the blank grade spaces next to the assignment. If the student's instructor is posting grades in Blackboard, then students can use that as a resource. Else students will have to use saved paper assignments. After completing the form, the students must show it to the teacher to confirm that they have completed the assignment. The bottom of the form asks the student to identify which of the student's personal learning objectives have been met and which need to be met.

Assessment The second part of the form should guide the instructor as to how aware the student is of his/her grade progress.
